I'm only half a stop away coincidentally, Gaia might though. I know nothing about the combatants except one has seen interstellar war and the other is a "mutant", I don't know what the safe distance will be yet.

It's a conflict born entirely of, near as I can tell, who's seen more death and destruction, and the only way to prove it is to beat each other up. I don't intend to interfere unless it's to save a life, but surely it won't come to that.

Nothing worth dying over, but when both sides are minimizing each other's losses, it is unsurprising tempers flared. I've never been allowed to watch other people fight before, this should be interesting!

I'm the best Shinra has. If I saw the 'best' everyone else put out and realized I could exert far less effort and still overcome their scores then why would I try harder? It's sensible enough.

I don't. It was never an option. But when I was younger I might have, if I knew how low the bar really was. This is taking a while. If I didn't know one of the people intending to fight was on the trolley right now with me I'd be concerned I'm missing something. Soon though..

I am not sure which one. He's very large though, probably over eight feet and wearing armor.

Huh. That's pretty big for a normal person, but kind of boring for a mutant. I'd expect to see extra limbs or at least spikes or something.

I got the impression from listening to the conversations that 'mutant' would include us, as anything not baseline, completely powerless ordinary might count..?
