[D's omen has been sent quickly winging it's way to Gaia to give her an important message.

'Tell him there's a safe and easily stored option for blood'.

D has no chill when he is brought up and Alucard does that by using one of his names.]

[ This starts out with a bit of an incredulous exasperation. ]

What, why can't he...

[ But then there's the realization that finally seems to connect. ]

....seriously?

[ It was NOT a 'i can't believe this seriously' but a 'I finally realized what Alucard backwards is and can't believe he has that UN' seriously. But there's still a look at the attic.]

Fine, fine. I'll tell him.

['That's not what we're trying to get across. There are dried blood capsules, all the benefits of blood with none of the questionable parts or needing to drink it, just like taking medicine.'

Maybe he could have handled this better.]

[There's a short pause here.]

Oh, that. I remember now, sorry.

[Did she know that before? Well she remembers it now. There's a brief look of confusion though it clears with a shake of her head.]

I'll do my best to explain the options then.

[The crow omen tilts its head at an angle that would be impossible for a human as Gaia agrees to meet up with the other Dhampir.]

[ Gaia fully notices. She is also clearly trying her best (and failing a bit) not to look distracted by the crow while answering Alucard. To whom she gives a perfectly reasonable, solid public place to meet. ]

[D's omen is going to be very insistent about going along.]

[ There will be a bit of eye rolling about the insistence but Gaia won't protest too much. It's probably a good idea to have some sort of backup. Prideful might be a thing but so is pragmatism. Once the Omni conversation ended, she speaks again. Not necessarily directly to the bird, given she suspects D is listening from somewhere. ]

I'm not sure what's going on exactly, but I feel it's important to meet this fellow you want to help. Even though.... seriously? Alucard? Is he trying to be clever with the network name?

[ Oh Gaia, if only you knew that he uses that name normally. Well she probably will soon one way or another. ]

He uses it all the time. Apparently humans gave him that name because he's-

[Did D just appear in a corner that was out of view or sneak down or was he there all along? Who knows.]

[Gaia knows. She has his memories. It's still hard to talk about.]

[D's eyes have a faint red glow and the air is unnaturally chilly.]

[ Gaia doesn't appeared startled when he makes his presence known one way or another. For a split second, her expression could almost mirror one of D's own. That is calm and listening and waiting for the statement to be finished.

Yet this melts back into a more normal teenager bit of surprise and it's followed by realization and thoughtfulness. ]

I... oh. I thought it was just him trying to be clever. I wouldn't have thought it was...

[ Something to take pride in after humans recognized him for being opposite. Yet... thinking of that man overlong is bringing irritation in her. And she's noticed the change that's come over the air... and her friend. ]

D...

[ Well she might have the memories, but what can she say? Certainly not much, for she understands. Rather, she focuses on the person that she's going to meet. ]

I'll go find this man and explain what I can to help him. I imagine he's a dhampir too?

[ There was a sense of... something not of the Nobility about Alucard. That and D's willing to help the newcomer enough to put Gaia into the middle of it. ]

Yes. I think he's much younger than I am, only centuries maybe, and he's different than if he was responsible for both of us.

[D's not even going to mention the successful patricide. It's too much of a sore point for him still.]

He doesn't feel like...

[Like family.]

Well if he's younger than you, that should be easier for me if things turn out badly.

[ That's her making a joke, D. Gaia does know how serious this is since she quickly turns serious again and speaks in earnest. ]

Hey, even if he isn't family, it's good to make sure this place won't be too rough on him. Even if that's just for everyone's safety.

[ There's a pause. ]

You don't have to come. Though I won't mind if you still want to send your omen with me.

I'll be half a minute away at a sprint.

[For D that is a considerable distance, and he estimates it's far enough that Alucard won't be able to detect him.]

My omen will go with you.

[The omen in question tilts its head, and then speaks aloud, its voice oddly like D's and yet not at the same time. "Yes. Together."]

[ She might cross her arms and give him a look but there's a faint smile. Half a minute away by sprint. Yes, she does have a good idea of the distance that's going to actually be. ]

That's fine. [ Including the omen in her glance she also adds a bit more. ] For both of you. Wait here while I get ready then.

[ Trench might require she cover up sensibly but it's not like she does that inside. There'll be fires to bank, lights to turn off and weapons and items to ready before she sets out. But that won't take overlong. And then she'll be off! ]

[The omen is going to wait and catch a ride on Gaia's shoulder, but D is going to leave on his own. He knows where the meeting point is, and can find a place within a mile or two with an easy sprinting line.]
